    These are a TRUE 4"- 5" Fish

    Our repeat customers may notice a slight increase in price from our standard 4 to 5 inch butterfly. These fish are considered
    premium select
    and are available for the first time this year. In order to classify in this grading the fish must have a specific coloring, marking, fins, and length. It is the highest rating you can available, you will be glad you bought these.
    These are hearty and easy to care for as any other Koi. These will make for a striking presentation in any water garden or during feeding time in the pond. Remember, when you walk up to a water garden or Koi pond you're looking down at the fish, the back of the fish and his head are the most prominent part displayed. This is why the Skeleton Koi are so unique, they look unlike any other Koi. Just take a good look at the photos. As these Koi get larger their coloring becomes more pronounced. Even at 6 - 8" these fish are beautiful. We cannot guarantee specific colors, this listing is for an assortment although we try and give a reasonable mix.
    Koi get very large and can live up to 40 years so please keep in mind that these are not goldfish and will require room to swim. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions,

    These are pellet raised fish however they will scavenge vegetation in your pond or water feature.

    One last point that apparently needs to be made: Although it would seem obvious to basically anyone, the fish in the photos are
    not the actual fish you will receive
    . Photos are taken from a batch of fish and if you read the description you will see that some photos are designed only for the purpose of showing you what the fish will look like once mature. We do not take a tape measure and size each fish before they are shipped. It's almost impossible to get them to sit still, therefore please be aware that some fish may be a few
    millimetres
    larger or smaller than the description. If you are uncomfortable purchasing fish sight unseen then please purchase from your local pet store. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
