    Description

    1890’s Antique Edward Miller & Co. NO 45 Egyptian statue banquet lamp with vintage velvet red shade
    1890’s white metal and brass banquet lamp.
    Carries an antique quilted ball shade.
    The lamp foot and the font holder are cast white metal with Rococo style scrolling leaves and satyr masks.
    Stem is of a figure of an Egyptian holding a torch.
    The torch supports the font holder with brass burner, fill cap and wick adjustment.
    The underside of the base is embossed: EM & CO. (Edward Miller & Company)
    Original gilt surface.
    Very good condition.
    Lamp never converted to electric.
    The Victorian shade is of molded ruby glass in a quilted drape pattern.
    Lamp with shade measures 28” tall by 6.25” wide at the foot.
