1938 ORIGINAL UNRESTORED VERY LARGE GALVANIZED STEEL POST LANTERN 6 PANELS

8 ORIGINAL, VERY LARGE, 1930s OUTDOOR POST LANTERNS made of GALVANIZED STEEL
(only three are pictured, but all are similar). Each lantern measures  36" HIGH, with a DIAMETER AT THE BASE OF 14", and a DIAMETER AT THE WIDEST POINT OF THE LAMP OF 13". Each LAMP WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 50 LBS, not including any packing material.
Each of the SIX PANELS originally contained GLASS PANES but were exchanged in recent decades for plastic panels. These POST LAMPS sat on top of brick and stone pillars at the entrances to a large apartment complex in Upper Darby, a western suburb of Philadelphia.
The earliest photo I could find that show the POST LAMPS in place is dated 1938.
CONDITION
: These ca. 85 year old GALVANIZED STEEL LAMPS are in very good condition with the expected minor bumps and wear to steel surface; black paint is chipped and flaking - see photos; glass panels have been replaced with plastic, and some of the plastic panels are missing; sockets are mostly original and should be serviced by a knowledgeable electrician; wires are not original and all have been cut - lamps should be rewired; hardware to anchor lamps is missing and must be replaced by new owner.
SHIPPING: These large and heavy lamps will be shipped domestically with insurance and tracking for as cheaply as I can ship them. Because of their size and weight, I encourage the buyer to pick them up for free from my home in Upper Darby, PA. I am also willing to deliver - for per mile one-way - as many lamps as you purchase within a 200 mile radius of my home according to my GPS. (For example, if you live 150 miles from my home and purchase 6 lamps, I will deliver all 6 lamps for 0.)
