s Restaurant U.S. Capital -
Beautiful  / Original / Vintage Menu from " The House of Representatives Restaurant United States Capitol -    Dated:  Lower left side of menu - August 5, 1965 Measurements:  16 1/2" x 10 1/2"  Fully opened Condition:  Very nice Piece,  No Rips, No Tears, No Stains, No Damage, Appears to have been folded into 1/4 some time ago.  This menu has excellent blue colors on the front cover and would frame beautifully. For more than 150 years, the House Restaurant has occupied the same space in the Capitol. In 1858, the dining room was purposely located just below the House Chamber, to make it easy for Members to grab a bite to eat or to meet with constituent's. This Dining Room menu, embellished with an iconic view of the Capitol on its cover, was signed by Texas Member Omar Burleson in 1948, and likely commemorates a day of sightseeing on the Hill.
