CROUSE-HINDS INDUSTRIAL LIGHTING FIXTURE.
This old light from 1941 arrived dusty but in otherwise great condition. It still had the inspection paper tucked into the socket.  Everything was disassembled, cleaned and wired.  I also added a ground wire..Pass Your Inspections!!
This light is in such nice shape, I couldn't help but add all the cool options! Between the light and the heavy Cast-Iron Crouse Hinds Hanger is a Crouse Hinds spring-loaded damper. The purpose of that is to suspend the light with a cushion spring to reduce vibration and allow the light bulb filaments last longer. It also provides some freedom of movement in the event the light is bumped with a ladder or forklift etc. If you wanted to eliminate the cushion hanger, everything would function fine. The main portion of the light is cast iron, the 912 globe-guard is aluminum. The embossed Crouse Hind V200 globe is perfect.
This is the larger 200 watt size Crouse-Hinds sconce light. It is just over 12" tall from the bottom of the cage to the top of the mount, the place the pipe enters the light fixture. The 3/4" pipe is 6" long and can easily be changed to a longer or shorter length, readily and inexpensively available
The cage is about 6" in diameter.
From the bottom of the cage to the ceiling is 22".
