Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this tie clip from the 1982 NASA Space Shuttle Columbia launch. The clip is made of gold tone metal with an enamel disk of the shuttle.
STS-3 was NASA's third Space Shuttle mission, and was the third mission for the Space Shuttle Columbia. It launched on 22 March 1982, and landed eight days later on 30 March. The mission involved extensive orbital endurance testing of the Columbia itself, as well as numerous scientific experiments. Astronauts Jack R. Lousma and C. Gordon Fullerton were the crew members of STS-3, Lousma was the Commander and Fullerton was the pilot.

CONDITION
- The clip is in nice, vintage, pre-owned condition! Shows normal age/use wear, enamel is nice a little spotting on gold - as with all of my estate items I have not cleaned it. Please see photos as part of description and condition.
SIZE
- It measures approximately 2" long, 5/8" wide across disk.
