    Description

    Beautiful healthy young Lemon Blue-eyed Longfin Bushynose/Bristlenose (Ancistrus) Pleco's (L-144) will be shipped to you.  These have been bred and grown in our own tanks by Purple Aquatics and they ship straight from us to you.
    Adults will reach a maximum size of 5-6 plus inches.  Males will develop bristles on his face.  Females may develop short bristles around their mouth.  Both will develop beautiful flowing longfins as they page. Minimum tank size is 29 gallons for these Pleco's but larger is always better.  Sand or Gravel substrate is fine.  They like to hide on/in caves, rocks, and driftwood so keep some of these items in their tank.  Driftwood helps keep their digestive system stay healthy along with high quality foods.  Keep their tank clean with weekly substrate vacuuming and partial water changes. Temperature 73 to 81 F (23 to 27 C).  Plants like Anubis and Cryptocoryne provide additional hiding spots for these fish and help your tank consume Nitrates.
    These have been fed a diet of of Algae Wafers, various types of pellets and they have been fed fresh vegetables such as Zucchini, Cucumber, (both skinned and washed), and canned French Style Green Beans.

    IN the unfortunate event of any DOA Plecos please contact me Within 2 hours of arrival time of the tracking numbers delivered date/time stamp.  Pictures ARE required of the fish in the unopened bag within 2 hours of receipt of the package.  Please be home to receive your fish and acclimate ASAP to their new home.  It is the customers responsibility to keep watch of their tracking number.  Be sure your delivery address is correct when you order.
    Shipping:
    The Box will be well insulated and if needed hot or cold packs will be added.  Shipping dates are Monday, Tuesday, sometimes on Wednesdays and on Saturdays.
