    ITEM DESCRIPTION
    Originally gaslight, now old electrified, this typo or allegorical chandelier was very much in vogue during the 1850´s. This fine 5 light example is attributed to Cornelius and Baker, circa 1850.
    The bronze, five-arm chandelier is adorned with five allegorical childs with mask in the hand and three allegorical women figures on the stem, that represent the Victorian love of symbolism.
    Incredibly ornate piece with five arms with a light each one. Extraordinary and exquisite chandelier. Tall: 65 centimeters. Wide 64 centimeters. Chandelier will be shipped dismantled so may need new electrified.
