Antique 19th C French Bronze Ornate 2 Light Wall Sconce

This is what I am fairly certain is a 19th century French bronze wall sconce.
Looking at the back, you can just sense it is very early.
Including the lights, the entire piece measures 13 inches high (33 cm). The bronze section measures 8 3/4 inches high x 19 1/4 inches wide (22.2 cm x 48.9 cm). It protrudes out from the wall 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm).
I have seen other French bronze wall sconces which tend to have a certain look. I think what makes this one special is the back plate. It’s fairly unique and has a beautiful design.
The sconce has one issue. When looking at the photos, you can see an old repair to the arm on the right, a little above where it comes out from the holder. Still, it feels very solid and sturdy. I have taken a couple of close-ups of this. You may want to replace the candle light covers, as they are scratched and scuffed.
Someone rewired this, probably fairly recently as the wire is very soft. Still, I always recommend rewiring any vintage lighting.
It weighs 4 pounds 13 1/2 ounces (2.196 kg).
