    Description

Offered for sale is an antique solid brass and glass sconce.  (There were original 6 offered for sale, but only one is left). These sconce was removed from one of the most beautiful homes in the Napa Valley originally built in 1905 during the Edwardian Period.  (See last photo of the home.)
The sconce is unusual with what is believed to be its original wavy cranberry and clear slag glass colored shades.  The sconce was originally illuminated with natural gas but was later wired for electricity.  The brass on the lamps has been left in its original unpolished patina.  Each sconce is turned on and off by a pull chain hanging down from inside the lamp.  The sconce is beautiful when illuminated and every glass shade is slightly different and unique.  Because of the fragility of the glass, I would prefer to ship sconce(s) with the 4 glass shades removed from the lamps and packaged with each lamp.
The cost of shipping is based upon USPS Ground.  If
for any reason the cranberry glass is not desirable, it would not be difficult to replace the four glass shades with either opal, colored or frosted glass.
