Antique Cranberry Glass Parlor Oil Lamp Swag Hanging Pendant Light Electric

Description

Gorgeous, deep cranberry (almost ruby), glass, antique oil parlor lamp from the mid-1800s.  Color is superb.  Cranberry glass gets is lovely color from gold added during production.  There are vertical bands, or stripes, in the glass.  Globe is an elegant pendant shape and has the original pull chains with wood pulleys and ornate brass plate above supporting the pulleys.  Electrified many years ago with one socket for a single light bulb.  A swag chain was added.
Important:  This is an old fixture.  It was in use when taken down, but please check it over before using in case electrical updates are needed for safety.
Measurements:
Almost 10-1/2" high -- cranberry glass pendant with top and bottom brass trim; about 8" wide at widest portion of pendant
Full drop with original chains, from top of brass plate (above pendant) to bottom of fixture, is almost 31"; to hook on top of plate is 32-1/2"
Swag chain measures about 11-1/2 ft. long and has inline (roller) switch on it.
Excellent condition.  Notes:  One of wood pulleys has a chip in it.  Glass has some tiny original imperfections original to the manufacture and slight wear.  Photos may show some glass streaks from cleaning.  Small chip at top lip where it meets the brass top rim.  Does not come with light bulb or swag ceiling hooks.
