    Antique Hand Painted Converted Victorian Kerosene Lamp Base AL & B Co
    What an incredible find!  This converted Victorian Lamp base was made by the American Lamp & Brass Company, which manufactured lamps from 1870 to 1904, in Trenton, New Jersey.  For its age, the condition of this piece is outstanding. See comments below.
    lamp has been converted to electricity.  The lamp works (see picture with lit bulb.)  The cord is 60 inches long.
    lamp base measures approximately 12 inches wide, 12 inches high
    beautiful glass base hand painted with florals - amber color background with pink and yellow flowers
    the oil reservoir is removable from base.  It is undented and in tact.
    condition:  amazing for the age of this piece:  no dents in metal;  painted glass base has little visible damage; all floral motifs complete and present;  no chips or cracks. Slight rub marks due to use, as seen on the widest edge.  Immediately under the brass rim, the paint has been rubbed off - see picture 7.  See all pictures for detail on condition.
    Item ships via UPS.  It will be double boxed: the base and the center metal container will be wrapped separately in their own boxes and then placed, with proper packing, in the outer large hipping box.  The outer box will measure 14 by 19 by 24 inches.  UPS is selected as the shipper I will use.  Please message me if you want to change shippers.
