Antique Hanging Porch Light Arts & Crafts Cast Iron Prairie style Herwig. Shipped with UPS Ground.
Up for sale is an antique hanging cast iron prairie style light. Made by Herwig in the USA! Light is heavy and cast iron. Carmel slag glass panels all throughout this light are all in good condition. (12 pieces total)
New cloth covered replica wire was used with original porcelain lamp socket. Light was restored back to original color. There is some light pitting to the metal but all rust was removed before painting. Metal is solid no breaks or cracks.
Light shows very well and a beauty when lit. See all pics as they are part of the description. All new screws and nuts were used in this restoration. I've never seen this light offered for sale. Catalog picture is from 1915. This light would fit into a Prairie craftsman or Arts& Crafts home. Can be used indoors but was originally intended to be outdoor porch area. This light is a true survivor!!
