Wonderfull witches hat arts & crafts sconces. These lights were rescued from a recent renovation and are circa 1960s from the spanish revival era. They are made of a cast metal still maintaining their original black finish. The lights had new sockets and wires installed but finish was left original. Overall condition is good vintage with no damage to the lights. There is a good deal of age related ware and some old house paint in areas, mainly around the edges of some of the bases, but scattered in some other areas. The witches hat tops have paint flaking and aging from use. These are suited for outdoor use but would look great inside as well.
We do not alter original finish on antiques. Any restoration would be up to the new owners, they would be a great candidate for painting a desired color or leaving the natural aged antique look, you cant go wrong eitherway. The lenses are a textured lucite/acrylic and are in good shape with a tad bit of age checking in some of them. Overall these are a great set of beautiful cast metal lights from the iconic spanish revival era of the 1960s.
Mounting hardware will be up to the new owners and/or their contactors discretion to access and provide.
The lights measure 15" tall x 7 3/4" deep x approximately 8" in overall diameter.
These are very old, the finish ware and paint flaking is more pronounced on some than others, they are being sold as you see them for restoration/or original finish, but functional with new sockets and wires.
