April 9 1983 NASA Space Shuttle Challenger Maiden Flight Landing Pin Edwards AFB

Up for auction is a 1983 NASA souvenir pin of the April 9, 1983 landing of the Space Shuttle Challenger, the shuttle that would sadly explode during take off less than three years later.
This features a likeness of the space shuttle, the mission number "STS-6", and the slogan "I SAW IT LAND".  This was the sixth Space Shuttle Flight which departed on April 4, 1983 with a crew of 4 and returning to Earth on April 9 at Edwards Air Force Base
.  It is in excellent condition being clean with no rust.  It does not appear to have been used much if at all but  we are not the original owners having bought this decades ago at an estate auction.  It has just been stored away in a climate controlled area in our smoke free home with other collectibles.
Please look closely at the pictures to determine the condition before you bid.
Any bright white or light areas in the pictures are just reflections and are not on the item
.  It measures 3" in diameter.
This is a great collectible at a great price with no reserve.
I will ship this to you carefully packaged in a box first class mail.  Buyer is to pay the actual shipping cost.
