ART DECO, NOUVEAU Era 5-Light ORNATE CEILING FIXTURE, Antique Metal CHANDELIER

Description

This old chandelier is way cool. It has heavy patina, the best way to describe it is like galvanized steel gets that bluish/silver coating on it. I'm pretty sure it's not galvanized steel, but definitely solid metal- aluminum?.
The fixture itself measures 17" across x 51" around x 5 1/2" deep. The ceiling mount is 13 3/4" long x 3 3/4" wide and the round mount portion on it's end measures 3 3/8" across. There is a broken portion on the ceiling mount, but perhaps it may be altered or repaired to hold the fixture.
The original cloth wiring goes to Porcelier brand sockets, rated 660W  250V, but for safety's sake, please re-wire. The center switch on the fixture to turn on or off does turn and appears to work. Both pieces together weigh 4.8 pounds.
So, will you paint it or leave as is....
