In this listing we have a really lovely doll head. This doll was released as part of the Fashionista line and is really charming. She uses the very popular June face mold that started off in the Fashionista line. She has a medium tan skin tone, light pink hair with a side part, light blue eyes, and light pink colored lips. This doll was made in Indonesia and is free from head glue.
This doll head is in very good shape. This doll has never been played with and was just taken out of the box. She does have some factory issues though. Her hair is very nice. It did get a little mussed from taking her out of the box. She will need a little styling help. Her hair fiber feels a bit dry. I think Mattel changed some of the materials used for hair, hers is a bit dry feeling. I am not sure how well it will stand up to play. It’s also a bit thin. You can’t see that normally, but if you press her hair down her part line is really thin. There’s some small gaps and you can see the hair plugs under it. The doll’s face paint looks good. She has the newer printed style of face paint, so when you look at it, it’s not as smooth looking as it used to be. When looking up close at the doll you can see that the face paint is made up of little dots. It is pretty pixelated when looking up close. It’s also really shiny so hard to take pictures of. All of her face paint is like that, including her lips. The doll’s neck rim looks good. Inside the neck rim there are some small notches in the head. I’ve seen this a lot from Mattel dolls. It looks secure, but I would be careful in case it’s a weak spot. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll head and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
