Chandelier Art Deco Large Pendant Light Antique Rewired !920`s - 30`s

Description

A large, striking, pure  Art Deco pendant light or chandelier from the 1920`s or 1930`s era.  The light most
likely graced a home entryway, commercial building, department store or offices.  From a time when lighting designs help define a space rather than just light it.
The light has a notable 16 inch diameter globe and measures 24 inches tall including the original polished aluminum fitter and decorative original cast aluminum loop or column.  The chain and canopy adds another 26 inches mating it 50 inches long.  The chain could be shortened upon request of the buyer.
The light is largely as found.  The old porcelain socket was broken and was replaced with a new old style porcelain socket.  The steel, chrome or nickel plated triple set of concentric rings has some areas of light plating loss or wear. It shows when examined up close, but is barely noticeable when on the globe and hanging from the ceiling.  The ring set is removable and could be painted or re-plated if desired.
The glass globe will be double boxed and carefully protected away from the rings and other hardware for shipping.  No international shipping at this time..
