Chandelier Virden 1930`s 5 Light Restored Metallic Finishes Winthrop Model

Description

A beautiful fully restored and rewired  1930's era 5 light hanging chandelier made by The Virden Co.  with a great detailed symmetrical designs utilizing beautiful vintage type gold, bronze and green metallic finishes as accents. Takes standard sized bulbs.
The fixture was completely disassembled, cleaned, restored, refinished and rewired utilizing new safe wire. The 5 original porcelain sockets were re wired and tested as well.
The chandelier is wired to be controlled from a wall switch or dimmer.
The fixture is a larger version of Virden`s smaller 3 light fixtures and these were often used in entry ways, hall ways or bed room areas.  A great 17 inch wide decorative light is perfect for living or dinning areas.  The light is signed 1930 J.C. Virden Co. along the inner edge.
This is a chain suspended light hangs a total of 27 inches from the canopy to the bottom of the sockets and  could be shortened  a bit upon request of the buyer.   The ceiling canopy  reflects the same finish features as the chandelier but  is not original to the fixture.
