In this listing we have a really nice replacement doll body from the Harry Potter doll line from Mattel. This doll body is a really nice younger boy body. This is from the first wave, but I don’t think they ever made a taller version of this body. It has a light pink skin tone and is articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. This doll body has one flat had and one hand posed to hold something with an extended index finger. This doll body was made in China. My pictures came out a little dark. The body is a little lighter in person.
This doll body is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just taken out of the box. Overall it’s in good shape, but does have some small factory flaws. The doll’s neck knob looks good. It does have some tiny stress marks and minor warping from taking off the original head, but this would affect using a new head with the body. The doll’s torso looks good. It does have a few minor scratches and scuffs to the hard plastic torso, but they are very minor. The shoulder and side seams are a little raised with some excess plastic in a few spots. They might need to be sanded down slightly. The side seams at the underwear aren’t perfectly even, one side is a little bit higher than the other. The doll’s arms look good. There are seam lines and mold injection spots to the upper arms, lower arms, and hands. There are some faint molded in lines to the doll’s hands. There are a few small scratches and scuffs to the arms, but they are very minor. The doll’s legs look good. They do have a few molded in lines here and there. There is a large mold injection spot on the bottom of the heel on the foot. There are seam lines to the upper and lower leg. Both the upper and lower leg have a line on them where the finish changes to the leg. It goes from having a matte finish to having a shiny finish. I’ve seen this a lot from Mattel dolls. Along the bottom of the left upper leg there is some excess plastic in a few spots. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll body and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
