Herwig #218 Cast Iron Victorian Hanging light. Classic style

Up for sale is a Herwig #218 Cast Iron Victorian Hanging light. Made by Herwig right here in the USA. Herwig is still in business today making great high quality high end lighting. Herwig has been making the model #218 for over 100 years. Same casting same great quality. Side by side its impossible to tell the difference between antique and modern. Saying all that I can't prove the vintage of this light and I don't think it really matters on this one.
This #218 is in great condition. Light has original paint. There are some chips here and there to the paint. All I did was wipe it down with damp cloth to remove bugs and dirt. Original clear textured cathedral glass is perfect no breaks. No pitting to metal and no metal loss anywhere.
One of the cast metal points on the top has been repaired. You can't see it until you get up close. (see pic) Pretty common for these to get broken in storage. Very clean fixture. Original porcelain socket was rewired using updated replica cloth wire.
Light is heavy. Bulb included. Light looks great and beautiful when lit. Classic style that will last another 100 years. Cast iron and thick. Never goes out of style. Last two pics are from Herwig catalogs. One is from 1940 and the other is current. Disregard any measurements from the catalog photos as they can be different from actual measurements. Height as pictured is 25". If you need it shorter you could take out up to two links of chain to 21". Keep in mind mounting hardware can add up to another inch depending on what you are using.
