This listing is for a BIG Late Victorian Era
Empire Style
two-arm
electric wall sconce from the 1900's with
beautiful large translucent satin camphor-glass shades.
AN ALL-AROUND VERY HIGH QUALITY FIXTURE.
Nice heavy castings - fixture portion alone weighs over 6.5 lbs!
100% READY TO INSTALL
Would go well in anything from a
craftsman bungalow to a Victorian home.

This lamp is from a unique era that combined Art Nouveau,
Arts & Crafts, French and Victorian styles.

This fixture retains its original old
surface patina
with minimal tarnish, dings, scratches, wear, etc.
The sconce has been completely rewired,
and the original pull-chain sockets are in good working order.
The backplate is large enough to cover any standard
single-gang or "round" electrical wall box (details below).
All necessary hardware is included for standard mounting.
Easily mounts to a standard modern or vintage electrical wall
box with a bracket that mounts to a crossbar (both included).
The reverse of the casting has been clearanced to easily fit over
the longer crossbar necessary to mount to larger modern boxes.
The above produces a nice flush fit to the wall without gaps.

Overall Height including shades - about 15-1/2"

Overall Width - about 16-1/2"
Shade height x diameter - about 6" x 5"
Shade fitter is standard 2-1/4"
The lion head backplate covers a 4-9/16" diameter circle,
and a 3-5/8" square. - easily covers any standard one-gang box.
Mounting hardware is included.
This fixture takes
STANDARD
bulbs of up to 60 watts.
