Large Vintage Antique Italian Tole Wall Sconce Dogwood Design Rewired 27" Tall

Description

Stunning large Italian Tole Wall Sconce.  This sconce is full of Dogwood flowers and leaves and is fabulous!  It is large and makes a real statement, with it's organic design.   It does have some chipping and wear, giving it great vintage character and appeal.  It has been rewired with new UL sockets and has three candelabra lights.

This sconce takes three candelabra base light bulbs, up to 40 watts each.   It is made to hang on the two loops shown on the back, in photos 9 and 10.  It does not have a standard back plate, so it can be hardwired or used with a cord going to a plug in below.  We can accommodate both types of hanging, if you let us know when ordering which you prefer.  Generally to hard wire these Italian sconces, people go to the hard ware store and buy a face cap to cover their wall box and paint it to match the wall, then the wires, just slip through a small hole in the plate, so the box does not show.
Please note:  there is wear and chipping of the paint and it is missing a few leaves.  One of the leaves has been reattached and is holding well.  As shown in the photos, this is a beautiful light and is busy enough with design the missing parts do not show as missing.
