Description

This is an official NASA Kodak photographic print of the second Space Shuttle launch of Columbia, dated November 12, 1981. This beautiful launch photo has press information printed on the back, though this is somewhat faded but legible. STS-2, like STS-1, are the only two shuttle launches with a white External Tank. The crew were Commander Joe Engle and Pilot Richard Truly. Included is a 4" cloth patch of the official logo.
