Pair of ALABAX 1930's Art Deco era, White Porcelain Sconces by Pass & Seymour
These art deco, white porcelain sconces were manufactured by Pass & Seymour (
P&S)
in Syracuse, NY during the 1930's.  They are signed ALABAX which was the P&S trademark for their porcelain fixtures.  The sconces are in very good condition and are ready to install.
We have carefully cleaned each of the pieces and removed the old overpaint from the sides.  We added new sockets with built in rotary switches and new wiring.
We also added new mounting hardware (nickel plated nuts, threaded nipples, crossbars).  Everything has been tested and is guaranteed to work correctly.
The polarized outlets at the base of each fixture do not work.  The parts had been discarded before we acquired them.   If you need a working outlet, contact us before purchasing.  We might have the parts.
Dimensions:  7" high to end of rotary knob, 4-1/8" wide, project 3-3/4" from the wall.  Use standard base bulbs (not included).
