Pair of Rare Antique Brass Candlestick Wall Sconces
We are listing this pair of sconces as "rare" simply because we are unable to find any examples of them online nor in any book on brass collectibles at our local library.
Each has a total length of 16.25 inches. The wall plates measure 2.5 inches wide by 10 inches long. The upper portion of the brass candlesticks are painted black. There are scratches in the painted sections of both candlesticks. There is one light dent in the lower section of one candlestick. The dent is very small, but can be seen in the last photo just above and to the left of the lower right wall plate screw hole.
These sconces are being offered in the uncleaned condition they were found when removed from an old home in Arizona. Please examine all photos carefully as they will further serve to describe the condition of these sconces.
