Pair Vintage Italian Hand Carved Florentine Gilt Wood Rococo Style Wall Shelves

Offered is a beautiful pair of classical old Italian hand carved Florentine gilt wood acanthus wall shelves in the Rococo style. I would date them to the 1950's.
They are a harder to find in a diminutive size like these (Dimensions: 6" in height by 5 1/2" in width; the depth of the shelf is 3 1/4"). There is a groove on the top of the shelf for holding a decorative plate/bowl, etc. There are two small metal brackets on each for wall hanging.
The shelves are in good estate condition, have a beautiful old patina and will display nicely. They do show age related wear mostly consisting of aging/darkeing to the gilding. Some scattered areas with paint loss were overpainted at some point. I do not see any breaks/losses to the carving of the acanthus decoration. There is one crack in the wood that is visible from the back side, but not really visible from the front (this small crack is highlighted in a yellow box in the last photo).
