Rare Framed & Matted Original Color Photosof President Ronald Reagan Addressing
the 100th Joint Session of Congress
January 27, 1987
***It is incredibly rare to even have the
opportunity to own such an incredible
piece of American history. A popular
President and the 100th session of Congress.
Photographed by professional Eastman Kodak
photographers who were given exclusive
access to document the address
to Congress on that historic night. The Kodak
photogs worked out of the Georgetown offices
of Kodak during the 1980s.
The frame is about 26 inches by 22 inches
by about 2 inches thick. It is
a wooden frame and clear acrylic.
Only a few of these special edition images
were ever produced (I believe only six).
This special set was presented to and owned
by a now-retired Kodak executive that worked
at the White House during the Reagan and Bush
administrations.
The images were professionally framed
at the Chesapeake Framing Company
in Kensington, Maryland. The frame has a
series of what look like staple marks along
some parts of the frame. I've shown one
such area in pic #10.
Search the Internet and you won't find many
(if any) color images of this historic joint
session of Congress and Reagan's State of the Union
address. Seated behind Reagan is
Vice-President Bush and the Speaker of the House
Jim Wright.
I mail daily, fast, and secure and this will be professionally
boxed for the safest shipping.
