RUST Gladfresit Handpan Drum 22inch in D Kurd Minor - Mallets - Purple? Black?

PLEASE READ:  This is a store return.  The label states that it is a Purple Performer. It looks black to me. It came to us with a lot of rust on it.  Please see photos #2 & 3.  We cleaned it up as best we could, but the rust areas can be FELT and seen.  This would be a good first time handpan.  The mallets and cloth are still sealed in their factory bag.
Purple Performer or Black? Not sure. Label says Purple Performer but it looks black to me.
