Scarce Antique Figural Gas Newel Post Light Soldier From Kentucky Mansion 31Inch

Up for sale is this very nice figural newel post light , not sure on what kind of metal is made ... cast iron or white metal , weight 22 pounds , a magnet did not stick anywhere . This item is not perfect , very old and have some small issue , please read condition report , i can provide many more picture if you ask , it will be ship all apart for safety , many parts will be double box . Shade is great , 5 inches fitter and 8 in diameter and in very nice condition . Overall size is 31 inches tall with shade in place , base is 7 3/4 in diameter and there is a piece of wood in the base . I do have a picture of the provenance and i will ship it with the fixture , came from The Verhoeff Mansion , Louisville , Kentucky , Frederick Herman Verhoeff , Ophthalmologist . Pretty sure it was a gas fixture originaly .
Old or vintage light fixture should always be check by an electrician before using them , for safety , this is your responsability to do that .
