    Description

One of two identical lights to be sold separately.  This is an antique school house style ceiling light fixture with its original 14 inch diameter cased milk glass fluted globe.  The fixture and globe were removed by an architectural salvage company from a 1920`s building being torn down.
The fixture is solid brass and updated in antique bronze metallic coatings. The antique original pull chain switch was restored and rewired and works correctly.  Since the switch is now about 100 years old, it is recommended that the switch not be used for daily operation. The globe is spectacular because of its fluted sections.  There are several small rim chips under the fitter that do not show or affect the beauty of the light.  They are too small to photograph.
Light No. 1 is identical to light  No. 2.
From the ceiling to the bottom finial on the globe the light measures 17 inches tall.  The globe at the widest is 14 inches in diameter.  The fixture mounts flush to the ceiling by two screws (included).  A threaded rod has been installed in the event your installer plans to mount the light to an outlet box.  Additional parts like a longer or universal cross bar may be needed depending on your set up.  They are not included.
The pull chain switch works correctly, but is not recommended for use due to the size and shape of the large globe.  It is recommended that a licensed electrician install the fixture to meet the codes in your state.
