    Description

    A 15 1/2" x 22 1/2"  white mat  presentation certificate commemorating the Phase I Shuttle-MIR program with an orbiter mission flag FLOWN on the MIR Space Station aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-91, launched on June 2,  landed June 12, 1998.   The certificate is SIGNED by Astronaut Wendy Lawrence(STS-91) and a cut-signature by astronaut Robert "Hoot" Gibson(STS-91).   A 1 1/2" square piece of the payload bay liner material FLOWN in space by Space Shuttle Atlantis during the historic rendevous and docking with the Russian Space Station MIR is displayed on a 5" x 7" card next to a 4" mission patch decal.
    A clear, lightweight, plastic bag provides a protective cover.
