Space Flown Metal in Pin Commemorating Shuttle Program Unopened NASA Gift

Containing metal flown aboard a Space Shuttle mission, this beautiful 30-year pin was given to NASA employees and contractors in 2011 by William Gerstenmaier, Associate Administrator for Space Operations.  (NASA's former chief of human spaceflight, Gerstenmaier now works for SpaceX). This is a treasure of the Shuttle Era, hard to pull out of the hands of those spaceworkers who lived it.
