SPACE SHUTTLE CHALLENGER STS-8 FLIGHT FOLDER
Here is a beautiful 8-1/2" x 11" full color souvenir STS-8 flight folder produced by the USPS in 1983 to commemorate NASA's 25th anniversary. This folder contains an envelope that was actually carried on the Challenger space shuttle. Postmarks include the Launch date (Aug 30,1983) and the "Returned to Earth" date (Sep 5, 1983). Each envelope had a unique serial number printed on the back - this one is 99318. Excellent condition. Own a piece of history!
