Space Shuttle model * Columbia * Radio Shack LOOK🤗🤗🤗. WOW! U are viewing a vintage  Columbia Shuttle model. Made by Radio Shack. This takes a 9 volt battery,  do not know if it works. This is a significant USA history piece. The Columbia shuttle launched on 1/16/2003 for their mission,  designated STS-107,  During their ascent a piece of foam insulation broke off from the left wing. NASA  didn't know the extent of the damage.  They completed their mission,  then while they were ascending (returning  home) they realized the damage. While descending over California. The shuttle started to disininigrate. The last crew trsnsmission was at 9:00 am. The shuttle disinigrated over Texss and all 7 members perished. . Just a piece of history. All shiuttles were grounded until 7/16/2005. This is a collector piece. Made by radio shack as a radio. Don't know if it works.  Looks like a 9 volt battery.  Approximately 111/2 inches long  with stand.
