STS-3 Flown Spaceflight Tracking & Data Network Patch NASA Shuttle Columbia

Description

Award certificate is 8.5" x 11".  Patch was flown on Columbia's STS-3 mission.  Included is the letter that accompanied the award which carries the printed signatures of the STS-3 crew.
Also included are 4 of the original training course certificates earned by the Bendix employee as a member of the Networks Team.  These certificates are all hand-signed.  The 1980 and '81 courses were:
POCC (Payload Operations Control Center) Operations
Introduction to NCC (Network Control Center)
Data Handling Techniques
STS Operations - Pilot
