SUPERB Antique ITALIAN 40" Gilt Wood & Prisms CHANDELIER LIGHT FIXTURE VILLA
Offering a spectacular antique (19th C.) Italian Chandelier.
Gilded carved wood central reserve. Wonderful patina of richesse.
Six scrolling gilt metal arms.
Beaded swags cascading from top crown to crystal bobeches.
Draped garlands of beads between bobeches.
Five tiers of elongated "icicle" prisms. In addition, inner circle of elongated prisms framing faceted lower ball prism. Each tier of prisms has graceful, flowing scalloped lines.
In very good antique condition. Takes 8 light bulbs. Superb patina. Some wear commensurate with age and use. A few of the prisms are missing. -- not detracting. very hard to tell since there are so many.   A few of the prisms are chipped, hardly discernible. Please note chandelier works, but as with all vintage lighting, we recommend checking and updating the wiring if necessary.
Very impressive size, measuring approximately 40" tall (lowest prism to highest point of chandelier) and 28" across (widest).
Great presence -- elegant and dramatic.
We wrap all our items very carefully. If items are damaged in transit, we will provide the necessary paperwork for the buyer to file a claim. In order for a claim to be filed, buyer must keep all original packaging and take photos of the damaged item(s).
