SUPERB c.1660's Italian Baroque Near Pair Brass Pricket Candlesticks Altar Candle Holders
For your consideration is an outstanding pairing of two altar pricket candleholders with castellated drip pans above knotted hexagonal stems on triform bases
Made of cast, turned and hand shaped brass or bronze
A larger and a smaller piece, with identical Baroque proportions and shape
Wrought iron central rods
Antique, Italian in origin, third quarter of the 17th c. (circa 1660-1680)
