    Description

This listing is for a pair of antique light fixtures. They have an Art Deco look or even Mid Century Modern- very versatile. Use them anywhere, they measure 7" tall when assembled x 4 1/4" across the round base x 4" distance from wall x 4 1/4" tall glass shade. Each fixture has a receptacle for two-prong plug and the light turns on with a switch on the bottom side of the socket- each switch has a satisfying click so I presume they work.
Originally the fixtures were chrome or silver colored, but someone painted them messily instead of taking them down when painting the wall around. They can either be painted another color or use a little elbow grease and try to get down to the metal. A magnet does not stick to them.  The glass shades had paint on them as well, but it came off easily with hot water. There are no cracks or chips in the shades and they sit atop the fixture without use of set screw.
The fixture mounts to the wall with one hole in the center, hard-wired. The wiring is old, cloth-style and should be professionally re-wired for safety's sake. Each fixture and glass weigh a bit over one pound.
