This is an amazing Art Deco slip shade chandelier c. 1930s.  All original, it retains the antique gold & dark burgundy brown finish, along with the 5 custard glass slip shades.  When lit, the shades have a fiery orange/red opalescence appearance of true custard glass.  With 5 lights, this chandelier provides a lot of indirect light that will fill the room with a inviting mellow glow, directing much of the light up and out across the space.
This has been completely taken apart and rewired with 5 new UL listed bakelite sockets (like the originals) and all new wiring.  The main visible wire is cloth covered like the original.  60 watt standard base bulb sockets.  It measures 18" wide & hangs 22" from the ceiling to the bottom of the shades.  I can lengthen to accommodate higher ceilings or shorten up to around 18".  This entire light is in what I consider excellent vintage condition.  The shades have no chips or cracks, the gold & burgundy finish is bold and intact & it's in like new working order.
