Thrifting find. Vintage, Circa 1930s or 1940s Bowl-shaped Glass Ceiling Fixture Light Shade. It is clear with a surface that is textured on the inside and smooth on the outside. It has three metal rods with hooked ends to attach to a canopy. No chips or cracks, but there is a small rust color spot or two and bits of paint spatter that I may have missed when cleaning it. The metal buttons that hold the rods in place look rusty and tarnished. The shade has a floral design on the outer parts, and a more geometric pattern in the center, including six little stars. I think it looks sort of like a snowflake. It is 11" in diameter and about 4" deep. The last picture is of a similar fixture in my daughter's room, to give you an idea of how it would be mounted to a ceiling canopy. This shade might be a sweet addition to your cottage, vintage, retro or farmhouse decor. Please see pictures for details and condition, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail. I pack with care and lots of bubble wrap.
