Description
Wall sconces were acquired from my deceased father. We were told they came from the “Lake Geneva Hotel” in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where we lived. Researching this hotel history, by internet search, revealed it was built in 1911 and demolished in 1970. The hotel was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It appears the sockets were replaced, probably by my father, and old sockets come with the sale. They were taken to the Antique Road Show, where we were told the sconces were made of “slag glass”. I have no knowledge if these sconces will function, but have no reason to believe they won’t. I am confident of where these wall sconces came from. I can’t prove with documentation. You be the judge of condition by carefully examining photographs. Only sales/shipping to lower 48.
