Vtg Pair Antique Brass Holophane glass shade vanity Wall Sconce Light Fixtures

Great pair of vintage wall sconce light fixtures, each featuring a shade of ribbed, ruffled holophane glass, antique brass fixtures are simple with pull chain and each is on a wooden back plate with etched edges. The fixture and shades are unmarked. Brass is not polished and retains a nice, antique patina. These were from a large, old bed and breakfast home in Fargo, North Dakota and were installed in one of the bathrooms. They are each wired so that they can be plugged into any outlet, so no need to wire them directly into your house, just plug and turn on! They were installed by screwing the wooden plates to the wall. They can be turned so that the shades are either turned up or down. Or the wooden wall plates could be removed and you could wire them directly into your walls. Sockets will take 60 watts each, or more if using LED bulbs. Fixture measures 13" from top of shade to bottom of wooden plate, 6.5" from the wall when installed, and the shades are 7 1/4" across the top. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique. Beautiful addition to your remodeling project!
