W.D. Allison Lamp Light Oxidized Copper Flash Japanned WD Faries OC White Era

Description

Large scale adjustable scissor lamp manufactured by W.D. Allison Company of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Bracket has a patent date of April 1909.  Cast iron and steel have a largely intact oxidized copper / copper flash / japanned finish.  When fully extended the fixture projects nearly 84" from the wall.  Wall mounting bracket is 10" tall.  Uncleaned.  Unrestored.  Some finish loss.  Some rust.  Black paint overspray on fixture.  Scissor arm has an old repair that employs a nut and bolt.  See images 13 and 15.  Gooseneck is flexible.  Scissor mechanism extends and contracts as it should.  Bracket swivels left and right and adjusts up and down as it should.  See images, they are part of the description.  Fixture may be partially disassembled for shipping.  Additional pictures and measurements available upon request.  Please ask all questions prior to bidding.  All sales are final.  No returns.
